Some of our most memorable friends are those who have experienced a long, colorful journey down the path of life, their wistful smiles
and handshakes revealing a heart that continues to give. What they pour into our lives could not be measured. They enrich our outlook
and sharpen our vision. They encourage and inspire us with their wisdom—keeping us grounded all the while. With this in mind,
we have made it a point to set aside time on a consistent basis to return our gratitude to those who have given so much to us. It
doesn't require much, just a listening ear and a willingness to step outside our world and enter theirs.
Thus the need for a commitment on our part, and the call for others to join with us in ministering to the most vulnerable in our
society as admonished in James 1:27. As this verse points to "pure religion" we are committed to the four aspects of. . .
- Prayer (consistently praying for those whom we serve)
- Unity (realizing this is a team effort)
- Relationships (building bridges of friendship)
- Evangelism (sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ)
Currently, we are ministering one-on-one to the residents of: Oakmont Nursing Home, 600 Sulpher Springs Rd., Greenville, SC
